WINNING! Atlanta’s Net News Photography Contest

You may remember Jonathan and Alicia’s wedding I photographed on a the Falls of Cherokee tennis courts in Canton, GA before spring left us for summer.  I had thought a lot about different things I could do to make their day really stand out and everything came together the morning of when a great friend pulled together dozens upon dozens of her tennis balls for this one shot.

 I had seen ALTA‘s Net News magazine was hosting a photography contest with multiple categories about a month prior to Jonathan and Alicia’s wedding, so I was thrilled when I pulled off the vision I had for them.  Two weeks ago, I was contacted by their Production and Advertising Manager that I had won second place in the Courtside category.  Pretty awesome!

 And now this puts my work in well over a dozen publications between local and national magazines, as well as books sold around the United States in upstanding booksellers stores like Barnes + Noble.  Color me happy!
