Multi-Generational Family and Newborn Photography Session in Downtown Woodstock with the Justice and Nordine Families

I am having more and more grandmas call me to schedule family photography celebrations in honor of the newest members who have just expanded their family count by one, but their love exponentially.

They want to document all three generations together. And this case, Donna wanted to include the in-laws and grandparents on the side of her daughter-in-law, as well as her sister.

We rotated through family groupings. Both families together. Separating into family units of four, plus their sweet newborn, Lorelei. Grandparents only. Grandparents with the grandbaby girl.

We walked around downtown Woodstock and a nearby park. It was low-key. We mostly talked, but would stop here and there as we saw different spots that caught our attention.

We talked. We laughed. They loved and hugged and loved each other more.

And then my heart was full and Lorelei was ready to eat and everyone was ready to part ways and enjoy the rest of this lovely warm day in early February that was unseasonably warm and such an unexpected blessing in the middle of our rainy weather.

If you have new members in the family you want to celebrate while they’re still teeny tiny and have expanded the love in your family exponentially, let’s get together and document these connections and relationships.

So that newest member? She’ll know through her whole childhood (and adulthood) how much she was loved. Right from the start.

Because she’ll one day have that book filled with photographs to remind her.
