Christmas Family Photos in Downtown Canton

This sweet family is in for an incredible treat as one of the chosen families of Sunshine on a Ranney Day. They’re getting a room makeover for their boy Stetson come the new year and I can’t wait to see the magic they create! In the meantime, I was thrilled to make their Christmas family photos in downtown Canton!

If you’re unfamiliar with Sunshine on a Ranney Day, they are an incredible non-profit organization. They build custom rooms for children with special needs. I’ve had the pleasure of documenting reveals of theater rooms for children needing daily infusions. So they have a comfortable place to take their minds off the daily treatments that last hours. Some receive bathrooms with walk-in showers. To make it easier on the parents lifting immobile, wet, heavy, slippery kids. Or sensory therapy rooms. And sometimes just really cool bedrooms.

Kathryn asked her mom to meet us in downtown Canton on this December morning. She was a big help in wrangling the kiddos as we moved around the Christmas decorations and shops. This is one of the best gifts ever when you have a six year old who needs to move. And a four month old who doesn’t want to be left out.
