Pebblebrook High School Senior Session Part 2 – Panama City Beach – Brinkley
Brinkley’s senior session started in Roswell Mill. And it ended here. On the Gulf of Mexico. In Panama City Beach, Florida.
We had tentatively scheduled it for a Wednesday evening and then moved it up two nights because of a forecast filled with storms and rain that covered all the hours. Brinkley’s family was worried about the storm moving in and what the clouds would mean for her session. But I was pumped. I love clouds rolling into portrait sessions and was thrilled with how they made the skies so dramatic. Throughout her session, I could tell they continued to be concerned. I shared a couple of images on the back of my camera while we were on the beach. But when they saw the final photographs during their ordering appointment, they understood why I was so excited.
We worked quickly. Brinkley changed outfits. We even made family photographs. The skies waited to pour rain until after we finished. And didn’t let up for over a week. As I left Panama City and drove home several days later, there was flooding on the highways. I even saw a couple of alligators on the roads as I was leaving town. It was crazy. I’m so glad we moved up her session and created the photographs on the beach that Brinkley had dreamed of making!
Thank you, Brinkley. For trusting me to make the photographs you dreamed of making. For being such a lovely soul. For making what I do such an enjoyable experience.
I loved working with you and your family. You have such a bright future ahead.
Follow your dreams, girl. You can achieve anything you put your mind to.
I know it.
