Woodstock Gazebo Proposal
Planning a Woodstock Gazebo Proposal
Tristan’s mom contacted me a month in advance. She was already helping Parker plan his Woodstock gazebo proposal to Tristan. All of their family members were in on the planning to make it a complete surprise for Tristan. I talked to both her mom and sister about logistics for the morning of the proposal. What time would they be decorating and when were Tristan + Parker expected to arrive? That determined my arrival time so I’d be inconspicuous and help keep the surprise when they arrived. Her sister and both Tristan and Parker’s parents helped decorate the gazebo in downtown Woodstock.
Decorating the Gazebo
They hung sheer curtains around the gazebo. Fresh rose petals were scattered across the gazebo within minutes of Tristan and Parker arriving so they wouldn’t blow away. Gorgeous greenery was added over the curtains. A pedestal held champagne on ice. The excitement in the air was palpable as they put finishing touches on making this the most romantic proposal in the Woodstock gazebo. Throughout the morning, Tristan’s mom was sharing updates on how long until they arrived.

I love how couples love each other. Photographing proposals and engagement sessions after planning with my people is the best. If you’re looking to document your proposal or the follow-up engagement session, contact me!
