Atlanta History Center Wedding

I had the honor of second shooting a wedding for Melissa Tuck Photography again in August at the Atlanta History Center.  This venue was so beautiful!  And since I love telling stories, I thought the banners at the front were perfect.

The younger bridesmaids read while the rest were finishing up getting ready.

I love when couples have a private first look!

Meanwhile, the ladies were watching the first look from inside.  🙂

Out of the back of the Atlanta History Center on the way to the Swan House were sheep.  Sheep!  They were noisy.  And they ran fast when it was time to eat.

This is about when it started to thunder, although the rain held off for over an hour.

The groom had recently had back surgery.  Being horizontal was much less painful than standing.

Small world moment.  Katie of Kate and Campbell Creative Weddings and Events was one of the wedding planners.  She sold us our last home and helped with all of the planning phases and choosing details when we were building it.  Now she is doing what she loves and helping couples with the planning of their weddings and then ensuring all of the details come together on their wedding day down to the bride’s father walking his daughter down the aisle.

The groom is in the military.  His cake was most patriotic.  I loved it.  Even the inside had stars and stripes.

After cake and toasts, the dancing began.  Such fun!

Thank you, Melissa, for asking me to second shoot with you.  It’s such a pleasure to work together!
