Reid Barn Wedding In Cumming GA – Shanna + Andy Got Married!
We don’t always get do-overs or second chances. Sometimes we don’t find love until later in life. After families have been started. And paths change.
Life doesn’t always unfold the way we imagine and dream it will.
Sometimes it’s better. And when two people find each other and recognize that love is decidely rare and valuable, there is an incredible amount of gratitude. It’s heard in their voices when they talk to and about each other. It’s felt when just being with them. It’s this feeling that they’ve hit the jackpot and they’re going to savor every minute they have together. It’s a feeling so intense that when you’re with them, you know you want the same feeling to fill your own life. The same good fortune.
Shanna + Andy would tell you it’s a blessing. And I don’t disagree.
Their wedding day was a celebration that included laughter, tears, horses, and even a duck crashing a ceremony. Before these two left the country for their honeymoon, Shanna was on facebook thanking their family and friends for pouring love into their day. There’s that gratitude again. Of taking nothing for granted. Noticing and acknowledging that seems a bit extraordinary in our fast paced world.
There were grandmas and great-grandmas in attendance. There was dancing and serenading.
While there wasn’t a first look, they did a first touch around the corner of the barn. Andy prayed while they held hands and their children watched. One of them was wiping away tears. Because. Sometimes when you’re struck with the magnitude of your blessings, it’s a bit overwhelming.
