Adam + Gayles Piedmont Room Wedding – Album Delivered!
Yesterday, I received a text from my bride Gayle that made my day. She said she and Adam had just gone home for a family reunion this summer and they took their wedding album with them. And everyone “LOVED it!!” Made. My. Day. Which made me realize, while I had taken photographs of Adam + Gayle’s wedding album…I never shared them here. So here are photographs of their beautiful 12×12″ album. It is leather bound with a gorgeous acrylic cover with Adam + Gayle and the beautiful Atlanta skyline at sunset.
I love that every album is custom designed with the input and ideas of my couples. I don’t send the design off to a company of strangers and I don’t use templates. So each and every album has exactly what my couples want included. And nothing that they don’t. Gayle + Adam’s album includes photographs from their engagement session at Atlantic Station.
And photographs from their dress rehearsal the day before their wedding.
The light for their wedding in the Piedmont Room where they got married was so beautiful. (you really should click through, just to see more of the photographs from their wedding!)
I loved seeing their parents dance together at their wedding reception. And the sunset created a gorgeous sky for a backdrop.
Receiving hundreds of images on a disk or flash drive from your wedding day is great. There are so many memories of hugs and love that you don’t want to forget. But there is something about holding photographs in your lap (and his) that are one foot tall and two feet wide as you turn each page. The weight of an album on your thighs solidifies that this day happened as you are drawn back into each hour and the emotions you felt. Designing albums and working with my clients to create an heirloom book that will be treasured for decades and handed down to future generations is one of my favorite services that I offer. I know pouring through hundreds of images on your own is overwhelming and so often flash drives sit in drawers and are never utilized or photographs printed. I love being able to make this process easier for my couples in suggesting formats or layouts and then tweaking from there what they love or want to change until it is perfect and receives a ‘thumbs up’ for publishing. If you’re planning your wedding and looking for a photographer, send me a note and let’s set up a meeting. I would love to talk to you about your plans for the day, if we’re a good fit and how I can help preserve the most important of days for you so you will never forget all of the fabulous moments that are sure to unfold.
