Covenant House Georgia Sleep Out For Moms In Atlanta

The Covenant House Georgia hosted a Sleep Out night for moms earlier this year. A night for moms to sleep out so homeless youth don’t have to. It was an amazing night to see how so many moms raised funds to help Covenant House and to make a positive impact on the lives of others here in our own community.

There is so much positivity within the Covenant House Georgia, reminding you on every wall that there is good within you.

The art studio is a fabulous space to foster creativity.

Everyone who came for this fundraiser evening was taken on a tour of the property to see where shelter is provided and the gardens outdoors which are tended every day.

As darkness settled in, everyone went to the community center for an evening of entertainment and games. Talented youth in the Covenant House sang and recited poetry they had written. I had goosebumps as I listened.

Everyone joined together for games.

It was after ten when the games were over and it was time to get ready to sleep. Outside for the moms. And inside for the youth.

These fundraisers for Covenant House are the best in seeing people come together to make a difference in the lives of others!
