Typically, I don’t schedule sessions on holidays. But things come up. Business resources text me and ask, “Can you make updated headshots for my friend who will be in town from Florida for a couple of days? I’d really love for you to do that for him!” And so I look at the calendar and I talk with the husband and I make it happen. In the middle of Labor Day weekend, I packed up my studio lighting and headed down to Brookhaven to meet Joe and update his headshot for him.
We walked around the inside of the apartment complex he was visiting and found numerous backdrops for him to sit and stand as we made a multitude of headshots. Joe changed shirts and we created different looks. At the end of our time together, I loaded the images onto my laptop and he chose these two to professionally represent himself in his law firm.
