Photographs Matter – Bringing A New Life Into This World

Some births are scheduled. Some are complete surprises with very little warning. Some babes come into this world easily. And some have a rougher entry.

When I asked folks to share their favorite photographs or the ones that meant the most to them, Jesse shared this one.

I love this because it came after one of the most mentally challenging 24 hours of my life. Katie had planned to have Luke all natural but after multiple challenging circumstances and a bacterial infection she was forced into a c-section. This picture was after surgery. We were both mentally drained and beyond tired but overjoyed with a healthy baby boy.
