Adairsville High School Senior Photos
I have known Lilith since they were in elementary school and my kids were a coupla years older. Their mom and I spent many hours together during our kids’ swim practices and meets. I got to steal this one after school and bring them to my house to eat different foods…that my own kids thought were gross. And I taught Lilith how to play with fire, melt glass, and make beads. Seeing Lilith grow up over this last decade has been awesome. I was pumped when mom asked me to make Lilith’s Adairsville High School senior photos.

Lilith is a thoughtful and witty human who listens intently and without judgment. They’re willing to hear out different perspectives, respectively debate topics, and try new things. While being continuously creative in various art forms and expression through clothing. While Lilith has played percussion in the marching band for years, they truly dance to the their own beat. How they embrace being true to self over caving to peer pressure and what’s popular. I love that. So much.

We did what Lilith wanted for their Adairsville high school senior photos. We started at the alpaca farm where they work and help take care of the alpacas. I learned alpacas are not quick to make friends with strangers. Nor do they necessarily want to be picked up and loved on as one would of course want to do. If they love animals or alpacas. I very much wanted to hold an alpaca. The alpacas were very much opposed to that happened. Lilith had a special way with them. And walking around the barn, it was clear to see that Lilith felt quite at home in the shelter of the alpacas at Sugar Valley Alpacas.

After leaving the alpaca farm, we headed back to Lilith’s home for an outfit change. Then we took a hike through the woods to a cemetery that’s been there going back over a century. The tombstones are old and not all of the writing is legible.

Our time was running out before Lilith had to take off for work. So we hustled back to the house for another two quick changes of outfits and scenery. We got heels with their percussion sticks.

And then time with one of the best chickens that initially thought she wanted to get away. But then she realized she liked being held and snuggled by Lilith better.

I LOVED doing Lilith’s Adairsville high school senior photos. Senior sessions are always so fun when the seniors bring their personalities, clothes, attitudes, and favorite locations into the making of their photographs.
