These two lived across the street from each other for two years, but didn’t meet until they were in college.

They love their puppy Maggie and knew they wanted her included in their engagement session right from the start. She was the sweetest!

Abbye + Art met at the University of Alabama, so they are huge Roll Tide fans!

Football season is intense with cheering for Alabama and the Greenbay Packers.

We walked all around this little park next to their apartment. So many excellent spots!

They returned Maggie to their apartment and changed clothes before we headed over to Piedmont Park as the sun was continuing to rise.

And I loved how their excitement for getting married this coming September was palpable.

While they are both numbers people, Abbye is crafty and always making things.

I foresee a successful Etsy store operation being built by this smart lady.

She created two different penant buntings for their engagement session. This one has their wedding date. Love that she separated the numbers with hearts.

Abbye + Art are just fun people. So enjoyed our time together on this gorgeous spring morning!

And they’re genuinely nice. Art didn’t even throw his shoe at me when I called him John by mistake…two hours into their session. My inner dialogue throughout the morning was, “His name is Art. Make sure you call him Art. But he looks like a John. Kelley, don’t call him John.” And then it slipped out. Whoops. I hate it when my mouth causes trouble. And I’m thankful for kind people.
